Summer is finally upon us. The garden, thanks to Jon’s epic work, is looking stunning and the food is as always reflecting what the season has to offer us. From fregula with globe artichokes, heritage tomato salads, local fish and meats and freshly baked bread. Best of all, our crab & lobster menu is back, showcasing the best seafood form the south coast, think monkfish with crab bordelaise, lobster with a Bearnaise sabayon or crab and grapefruit salad. There is plenty to enjoy here this summer.
Although a pie may appear on the menu from time to time (and the odd sandwich at lunchtime), we are not what you would call a conventional pub. If what you enjoy is carefully sourced local produce, artisan cheeses, top quality charcuterie and dishes reflecting the seasons then we are the place for you.
