“Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness”
Autumn is now upon us. This is an exciting time of year for food, with our menu featuring local venison, pigeon, partridge and grouse. For those of you who enjoy fish, we will be continuing our Fishmonger’s Friday menu which celebrates local seafood.
Although a pie may appear on the menu from time to time (and the odd sandwich at lunchtime), we are not what you would call a conventional pub. If what you enjoy is carefully sourced local produce, artisan cheeses, top quality charcuterie and dishes reflecting the seasons then we are the place for you.
